KCE RACING RULES (COMPLETE)
General Guidance / Rookie Drivers Start Here
1: Rookie drivers will receive a triple digit number in the 100 range and DO NOT qualify until they receive their 2 digit number. Any rookie driver that qualifies will be given a 1 lap black flag penalty for that race. Rookie Drivers are able to run any series within the KCE community.
2: All drivers must have a working microphone with Push To Talk enabled. All voice communication is done on Discord ONLY. All drivers are required to have Discord voice chat connected to the KCE race channel active and working. There will be no voice activation allowed on the discord server. You can NOT mute and deafen yourself while racing or practicing in any KCE Racing league event. It’s ok to chit chat but please be respectful of others trying to speak. All drivers must use their iRacing first and last name & assigned number in Discord (ie. John Doe #111).

3: All driving aids are turned off except for clutch assist. You will need an ignition, and a starter button mapped / configured to race. Have your hardware sorted by race day. We are willing to help at any time but please remember we are here to race and race day is not the time to be seeking help. Use the discord Member-Help channel at any time and I’m sure someone will help you after or before race day.
4: A RACE REVIEW ADMIN BOARD MEMBER will reach out to rookies once they have completed 3 races in one series or 6 races in multiple series. Please do not contact the KCE Racing administration to request a 2 digit number. DISCONNECTS AND DQs do not count.
5: Only 2 sponsors can be secured that have not been already taken by existing 2 digit drivers in any series. Numbers, sponsors, AND CAR PAINTS can only be changed ON THE WEBSITE ONCE every 6 months. only one edit of any of the three or all of the three can be done every six months.
The President or Vice President of KCE Racing League reserves the right for additional races to be required, if further driver evaluation is determined to be necessary.
6: Black flags will not be cleared for any reason.
7: Intentional wrecking will result in immediate removal from the league.
8: Intentionally bringing out a caution will result in a severe penalty or have you removed from the league.
9: The drivers meeting AND PIT PARTY is mandatory for all drivers, unless previously approved by an admin.
10: No duplicate paint schemes.
11: When a caution comes out, you can lift off the accelerator, however you must maintain speed to catch the pace car/field. Leaders / Lead pack will slow to approximately 2 times pace speed until they catch the pace car to allow other drivers to catch the field. You must follow IRacings informational black box on your screen to sort out your position before pitting or taking the green flag to avoid potential black flags from IRacing. Black flags will not be cleared for any reason so pay close attention to the information provided by IRacing. Any car that is too damaged to catch the field MUST stop and call for a tow immediately. Any driver not catching the field damaged or not, potentially causing another driver not to be able to pit or causing a black flag to another driver, may be given an EOL/GFPT penalty for their next race.
12: No over aggressive driving. Getting into the bumper, dive-bombing corners, or reckless 3 wide racing COULD result in a penalty.
13: Always race drivers the way you want to be raced.
14: When pacing, close the gap in front of you so you CAN’T see the logo of the car in front. You don’t want to be on and off the throttle. Drag that brake. Do this starting with one to go, and do NOT wait to catch up.
15: After the race, you MUST drive your car back to the pits and park it in “YOUR” STALL. Don’t stop and hit escape. This is called leaving your shit on the track and you will receive a penalty for it.
16: You must start every start/restart in 2nd Gear.
17: You must go on green or when the leader goes on restarts.
18: You must be 25 years of age or older.
19: You must be under a 3500 IRating to participate in this league. Anyone over 3500 will not be able to join any race.
20: Any driver who misses 3 consecutive race point weeks may lose their TWO (2) DIGIT number and be placed in a 200 range OR be removed from the league.
If you need an extended leave, please contact the owner of the league and we can work it out. Life does come first. All we ask is that you communicate.
21: With 10 laps to go all drivers will keep general discussions down and only use chat for Race Related Chat on discord.
22: No Wall Riding.
23: No advertising or sponsoring of other leagues in KCE Races. If you are seen with other league logos on your paint you will be asked to remove them. If they are not removed by the following race, you will be removed from the race until the logo is removed.
24: Any driver who does not follow race instructions given by an owner/admin during a race will be assessed at a minimum 1 lap black flag for the next race and will be carried over to future races until served.
25: Race bonus points are only awarded if you complete 75% of any race.
Bonus points are awarded as follows.
Lead 1 or more laps = 1 bonus point.
Lead most laps = 1 bonus point.
Finishing the race (75%) = 1 bonus point.
Finish with less than 4 incident points = 3 bonus points.
