This is a brief intro to the rules aher at KCE Racing. please enjoy the video but for the complete list of rules read below.
Although we don't want to over complicate the online racing experience, we do need guidance to maintain structure. For this reason, we are going to enforce the following actions within the KCE Racing League.
All drivers must be in practice prior to the Pit Party 20 Minutes before Qualifying to participate in the Race. Unless approved by an admin
Penalties are not debatable or discussed. These penalties are handed down from the review board and cannot be overturned. except by the league owner. contact made either verbal or written to dispute a penalty will result in an additional one lap black flag penalty or race suspension.
The drivers meeting is mandatory for all drivers.
All driving aids are turned off in the KCE Racing League. You will need a clutch, ignition, and a starter button mapped / configured to race
Have your hardware sorted by race day. We are willing to help at any time but please remember we are here to race and race day is not the time to be seeking help. Use the discord Member-Help channel at any time and I'm sure someone will help you after or before race day.
No duplicate paint schemes. Any driver with a duplicate paint scheme of another driver may be asked to change. After the initial admin request you will be able to run the race you are currently in but from that point on you will not be allowed to race if you do not change the paint that is duplicated.
Race bonus point are only awarded if you complete 75% of any race. If you do not complete 75% of the race laps you will receive 0 bonus points for that race
Bonus point are awarded as follows
Lead 1 or more laps = 1
Lead most laps = 1
Race Winner = 3
Finish with NO incident points = 3
On cautions and if the crash is not right in front of you, you need catch the pace car/field as quickly as possible. Once you’re caught up, sort out your position before pitting or green flag. This means if you are being told to let a car by you can not pit until that car has passed you or you will receive a black flag from IRacing.
No over aggressive driving, getting into bumper or dive-bombing corners allowed
Always race drivers the way you want to be raced
When pacing close the gap in front in of you so you CAN'T see the logo of the car in front. You don't want to be on and off the throttle. Drag that brake. Do this starting in turn 4 and do NOT wait to catch up
After the race you MUST drive your car back to the pits and park it. Don't stop and hit escape. This is called leaving your shit on the track and you will recieve a penalty for it.
You must start every start and every restart in 2nd Gear.
You must go on green or when the leader goes on restarts as we use restart zones.
You must be 25 years of age or older.
You must be under a 3500 IRating to participate in this league. Anyone over 3500 will not be able to join any race.
Any driver who misses 3 consecutive race point weeks may lose their number and be placed in a 200 range OR be removed from the league. If you need an extended leave, please contact the owner of the league and we can work it out. Life does come first. All we ask is that you communicate.
With 10 laps to go all drivers will keep general discussions down and only use chat for Race Related Chat on discord.
No Wall Riding.
No advertising or sponsoring of other leagues in KCE Races. If you are seen with other league logos on your paint you will be asked to remove them, If they are not removed by the following race you will be removed from the race until the logo is removed.
Intentional wrecking will result in immediate removal from the league.
Intentionally bringing out a caution will result in a severe penalty or have you removed from the league.
2 digit drivers may only request a number change after having their current number for a period of 6 months.
Any driver who does not follow race instructions given by an admin or race control during a race will be assessed at a minimum 1 lap black flag for the next race and will be carried over to future races until served. Further penalties may be given such as race suspension/s or expulsion from the league. Dependent on the severity of the situation which penalty given will be at the digression of the Race Review Board and the Owner of KCE Racing."
A Microphone is required to race and practice.
All communication is done on Discord ONLY. IRacing voice chat will be disabled after the practice of all events at KCERacing.

All drivers must have a working microphone with Push To Talk enabled. There will be no voice activation allowed on the discord server.
All drivers are required to have Discord voice chat connected to the race channel active and working. You can NOT mute and deafen yourself while racing or practicing in any KCE Racing league event.
We will use Discord for all communications it's ok to chitchat but please be respectful of others trying to speak.
All drivers must use their iRacing first and last name & assigned number. (ie. FirstName LastName #300) in Discord
We will NOT discuss incidents or accidents during the race. A simple apology or general discussion about what happened is welcomed and expected but in-depth discussions will be limited as to allow others to focus on racing.
The leader or 1st car in line will always announce the pace car in turn 2 and turn 4 to assist drivers that may be caught in the pits and doing repairs. If the first car or leader does not call out the pace car position they may be given an EOL by race control.

Oval Series
No fast repairs
9 incidence points
6 Incident points you will receive a drive though penalty
Rookie drivers will receive a triple digit number in the 100 range
Rookie Drivers must have either 3 "Points Races" in one series or 6 "Point Races" combined in any of our series. "Point Races" are races that are listed in the SimRacerHub points system and part of any of our official series. Fun Runs, pilot series, disqualifications, disconnected and other non points races DO NOT count towards your race completions.
If a rookie driver applies for their 2 digit number and does not have both items below in order. They will be immediately declined and told they need 6 races completed in one series or 12 in multiple series before applying again.
1: You must have 3 completed races in one series or 6 in multiple series.
2: Stream information in the Driver Application must be completed.
If a driver applies again at the 6th or 12th race and does not have this information still completed they will be immediately declining and told they need 12 races completed in one series or 24 in multiple series before applying again on so on.
2: Rookie Drivers must complete 2 digit number request on the website after completing 3 races in one series or 6 Point races combined in multiple series. (An Admin or the committee will NOT let you know you are able to apply. You must track this yourself)
3: Any rookie driver applying for their 2 digit number must setup and configure the stream driver information application located here (Stream Driver Information Application Link) prior to applying for their 2 digit number. The stream will be reviewed when you apply to determine if this has been completed. If not then you will be asked to complete the process and apply again.
When a new member / driver requests a 2 digit number the committee will convene and vote on allowing the driver to receive a 2 digit number
Once the committee has voted the majority vote will determine if the driver is granted their 2 digit number. If the vote is not in favor of giving the driver a 2 digit number they will receive and email stating that they can reapply after another 3 races have been completed.
Rookie Drivers DO NOT qualify until they receive their 2 digit number
Rookie Drivers are able to run any series within the KCE community
After receiving your 2 digit number you will not be able to change your number until you have run that number for a period of 6 months. Number changes can only be requested every 6 months after receiving a 2 digit number
The Owner, Admins, and/or Review Board reserves the right to Approve / hold / deny a request prior to and/or after the voting process if further driver evaluation is determined to be necessary or needed to approve the 2 digit request.
At KCERacing if you are involved in an incident incident on track it is up the you the driver that was impacted to file an Incident Report or it may not get the attention it needs. For this reason I have implemented a Race Incident Report form that drivers will fill out if they feel that a situation should be reviewed. This form will require a snippet of the replay and there is a link with instructions on how to do that below
The form must be filled out completely. If anything is missing it will be deleted and ignored.
Once submitted our race review director will look over the submission and IF deemed valid for review will submit it to the race review committee for vote review.
The penalty outcome either for or against will be posted on the website and the submission will be closed.
The information included on the website for every submission will include:
Date Of Submission
Date of Incident
Reporting Drivers Name and Number
Alleged Offending Drivers Name and Number
Description of incident as submitted
Penalty Severity or No Penalty stated
Penalties will be given when review is completed. This could mean the penalty will NOT be posted on the next race they participate in. If this is the case. The offending driver will serve the penalty on the next available race after the penalty is posted.
All Penalties will carry over until served.
To limit submissions to only valid, real issues. All drivers will receive 4 submissions per 36 week season and 2 for 18 or less week seasons. If a driver submits a Race Incident Report and is found the offense is valid and the offending driver receives a penalty they will not use one of their allotted submissions for that season. However, if a driver's submission is deemed not valid and/or no penalty is assessed that person loses one of their allotted season submissions.
The race review director and the owner will be able to bring anything to the identified review committee, with or without a submission.
The form is posted on our website at http://kceracing.com/ under forms and select “Race Incident Form”
All submissions MUST be submitted no later than 24 hours after the incident.
This should allow us to race more and have less stress about ticky tack bullshit that is forgiven on the track but not in the review room. As well, the allotment will make the driver submitting think before they submit an emotional form when it really didn’t make a difference. All I can say is that an apology can now go a long way on the track.
Although these are the basic rules of the KCE Racing league guidance can change at any time and may be updated periodically. Please check back from time to time to ensure you are aware of any additions or changes. As well, league owner and the appointed committee reserves the rights to penalize and will continue to enforce aggressive driving or any other action deemed detrimental to the league through either EOL's, GFPT, Black Flags, Race Suspensions, Pit Starts as well as removal from the league at any time without notice or reason. All penalties given from the race review committee are subject to interpretation by the league owner and appointed administrative members. We will do our best to communicate to you however there is no contractual intent on either party of membership to the KCE Racing league.
